Mr. Coleman is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Coleman's main areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and business law, secured lending matters, corporate finance and student loan finance. He counsels a wide range of clients in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses involving privately and publicly held companies; joint ventures; licensing arrangements; secured financings; sales of goods and services; securities regulation; and other general business matters and commercial needs. He has advised many start-up businesses, including those utilizing venture capital. He also serves as underwriters' counsel on tax-exempt student loan issues and student loan securities throughout the country.
