Charles S. Beal joined the firm as an associate in 1996 and became a partner in 2001. Mr. Beal has performed a wide variety of trial and appellate work in the state and federal courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts and before administrative bodies. Mr. Beal regularly engages in commercial litigation involving copyright, trademark, restrictive covenants, unfair competition, employment and other commercial disputes. Mr. Beal's clients include financial institutions, health care providers, commercial retail chains and other closed and public corporations. pon graduating from law school, Mr. Beal served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Ernest C. Torres, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. Mr. Beal began his legal career with the New York City law firm of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison. Mr. Beal is a 1985 graduate of Brown University and a 1989 graduate of Boston University School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the Boston University Law Review. |
