Charles has worked in Information Technology for over 23 years. His strengths lie in his ability to understand client’s business needs and then apply the appropriate technical solutions. His experience offers clients and business partners the best combination of problem solving with technology. Charles was selected to fill the Vice President of Operations position. He is responsible for the management, planning, and development of all business opportunities, partnering strategies, and account pursuit strategies. He is integrally involved in all P&L decisions, budget and fiscal year planning, operational review of key projects and negotiating and executing contracts. Prior to joining TecPort Solutions, Inc. (TSI) Charles functioned as a consulting principle in a large privately held IT services firm where he established the data architecture practice, enhanced the solutions development process and delivered solutions. He achieved a 40% proposal win rate while implementing and leading the data architecture team. Charles has held a variety of consulting and project management positions across a wide range of industries and public sector including insurance, logistics, manufacturing, state and federal government and energy. His field assignments have given him broad experiences in the diverse problems associated with information systems. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, he is a PMI certified Project Management Professional, a Rational Unified Process Certified Consultant and has received the US Navy Civilian Meritorious Unit Commendation and US Navy Certificate of Merit. |
