Mr. Rutherford is experienced in all phases of intellectual property law practice. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Michigan.
Mr. Rutherford is a former instructor for the University of Detroit School of Engineering; he worked as an engineer while attending law school. He is retired from the United States Air Force Reserves, Judge Advocate General Department, with the rank of Colonel.
