Chuck is a principal and consulting actuary with the Seattle office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1994.
Experience
Chuck works primarily with group healthcare programs, including commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid populations. Chuck provides consulting services in pricing, benefit plan design, experience analysis, capitation arrangements, provider reimbursement/incentive arrangements, claim liability estimates, and feasibility studies. His area of expertise is managed healthcare, and he has extensive experience with Medicaid managed care plans and Medicare Advantage plans in numerous states. Chuck participated in the Milliman firm-wide Medicare Part D research effort over the last two years and has assisted numerous plans in developing Part D bids and monitoring emerging experience. Chuck has assisted HMOs, PPO and POS plans, hospitals, physician groups, multiple employer welfare arrangements (MEWA’s), and self-insured employers.
