Charlie Carter's practice concentrates on corporate and securities laws, with an emphasis on the representation of emerging growth companies.

Experience: Charlie has experience with venture capital and private equity financings and other private placements, initial and follow on public equity offerings, private and public debt financings, mergers and acquisitions involving private and public companies, Hart-Scott-Rodino filings and related matters, and securities laws matters, including compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. In addition, Charlie has experience negotiating technology licenses and corporate partnerships, and he has advised companies on a wide range of general corporate issues, including equity incentive plans and board of directors matters. Charlie was named a Rising Star in 2003 and 2004 and a Super Lawyer in 2005 through 2007 in the Washington Law & Politics survey of lawyers in the State of Washington
