Charles N. Kahn was elected to ZixCorp’s Board in June 2005. He is currently President of the Federation of American Hospitals the national advocacy organization for investor-owned hospitals and health systems. Previously he served as Executive Vice President and President for the Health Insurance Association of America. As a staff director for the Health Subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee from 1995-1998 Mr. Kahn helped bring about HIPAA and the Medicare provisions of the 1997 Balanced Budget Act. In addition to teaching health policy at Johns Hopkins University George Washington University and Tulane University he has numerous academic and advisory appointments. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Tulane University. |
