Charles N. Jolly is an attorney, licensed in the District of Columbia and Tennessee. He was elected Secretary and General Counsel of Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc. in August 2005.
Mr. Jolly has extensive experience in the management of legal affairs of consumer products companies, having served for 17 years as Vice President and General Counsel of Chattem, Inc. with previous service in the legal departments of Miles Laboratories, Inc. and Swift & Company.
He was a candidate for Congress in 1994-96 in the Third District of Tennessee and subsequently was engaged in the private practice of law with the firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz. He has served on the Boards of Directors of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, the Council of Better Business Bureaus and the Tennessee Conservation League. He was a member of the FDA’s Expert Technical Committee convened in the wake of the Tylenol® issues of the past.
