Mr. Rampacek is the former Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Probex Corporation, an energy technology company that developed a proprietary used oil recovery process. He possesses nearly 40 years of petroleum and energy industry experience. He served in these executive roles at Probex from 2000 to 2003.
Prior to that, he served for almost five years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lyondell-Citgo refining, LP, a joint venture of Citgo Petroleum Corporation and Lyondell Chemical Company. Before that, for 13 years Mr. Rampacek held various executive positions for Tenneco, Inc, and its energy-related subsidiaries, including President of Gas Pipeline Transportation, Executive Vice President of Gas Pipeline Operations, and Senior Vice President of Refining and Supply. Prior to that, he held various management positions with Exxon Company USA for 16 years. These positions include Planning Manager of Refining, Planning Manager of Coal and Synthetic Fuels, and Operations and Technical Manager of the Benicia, California Refinery.
Mr. Rampacek has been a Director of Flowserve Corporation since 1998. He is also a Director of Orion Refining Corporation.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Alabama and a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas. |
