Charles M. Potok, 57, has served as our Chairman of the Board since February 2003, and has served as one of our directors since September 1995. He has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Companion Property and Casualty Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina, since March 1984 and, as President of Companion Property and Casualty Company since April 2002. Mr. Potok is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Potok serves on many business and civic boards and is currently President of the IndianWaters Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Potok was most recently reelected as a director at the annual meeting of stockholders in 2006.
