Mr. Higley's practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, land use, and development. Professional Activities Mr. Higley is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of San Francisco. Mr. Higley also serves on the Board of Directors of Urban Ecology, a San Francisco based nonprofit organization concerned with sustainable development and land use planning in the Bay Area. Education - Mr. Higley received a B.A. in Government from the University of Virginia in 1995. He received a Master of Studies in Environmental Law, magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School in 2001, and earned a J.D. from the University of California, Boalt Hall School of Law in 2002, where he served as an articles editor for Ecology Law Quarterly. Prior to law school, Mr. Higley worked as a lobbyist in the New Mexico Legislature for the New Mexico Conservation Voters Alliance, a statewide network of environmental groups. |
