Charles Guowei Cao has served as our director since November 2005. Mr. Cao is President and Chief Financial Officer of SINA, a leading online media company and value-added information service provider for China and for global Chinese communities. Mr. Chao joined SINA as Vice President of Finance in September 1999 and has since played a vital role in the success of the Company's past mergers and acquisitions and in forming such strategic alliances with Coca-Cola, ChinaHR, Elong and BBK. Prior to joining SINA, Mr. Chao served as an experienced audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a Big Four accounting firm, providing auditing and business consulting services for high tech companies in Silicon Valley, California. Mr. Chao received his Master of Professional Accounting from University of Texas at Austin. He also holds an MA degree in Journalism from University of Oklahoma and a BA degree in Journalism from Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Mr. Chao is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
