Mr. Strang is a former Kronos Director from January 2001 through December 2002. He was named National Commissioner of NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Racing) in 1998 and continues to serve in that capacity. In 1989 Mr. Strang received President Bush's American Vocation Success Award; in 1992 was elected to the Hall of Fame of the National Marine Manufacturers Association; in 1990 was awarded the Medal of Honor of the Union for International Motorboating; and is a life member of the Society of Automotive Engineers. He also currently serves as a Director of the American Power Boat Association (the U.S. governing body for powerboat racing) and Senior Vice-President of the Union for International Motorboating (the world governing body for powerboat racing, with approximately 60 member nations). |
