Charles C. Cornelio heads the Shared Services and Information Technology areas of Lincoln Financial Group. Previously, Cornelio was responsible for Jefferson Pilot’s information technology, insurance legal, government relations, customer service, claims, licensing, contracting and commissions. He also has served as executive vice president of underwriting and new business and chief information officer for Jefferson Pilot’s insurance operations. He also has been responsible for operations at Chubb Life Insurance Company of America, and also had responsibility for the legal area. Cornelio was a private practice lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions before joining the life insurance industry. Cornelio is a graduate of Boston University School of Law and Tufts University. His industry designations include Registered Securities Principal and Fellow, Life Management Institute. He is active in civic organizations such as The Center for Creative Leadership, The Currier Gallery of Art, Action Greensboro and several other organizations. |
