Charles A. Galford, a member of the Management Committee representing the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, has extensive experience in law, business development, marketing, public relations and media strategies. Mr. Galford received his BA from the University of Michigan and a JD from Yale Law School. He has been a partner in two major Northwest law firms and worked as a marketing executive at NIKE, where he helped devise NIKE’s Air Jordan and NIKE Air strategies. Mr. Galford has owned and operated a sports marketing firm and served as an owner/managing member of a company providing economic development services, including casino development and management, to various Native American tribes. Throughout his career, Mr. Galford has worked for and/or consulted with a large number of Indian tribes and Alaska Native Corporations. Mr. Galford serves as vice-president and board of directors member for various companies owned by the Paskenta Nomlaki Tribe. The Paskenta Nomlaki Tribe is located in northern California and has developed several successful business enterprises. The Tribe is a major investor in IET and, through one of its companies, Tepa LLC, is a joint venture partner with IET for the development of federal contracts for the PEM. |
