Charles A. Fribourg joined ContiGroup Companies Inc. (ContiGroup) in August 1980. Formerly the Continental Grain Company ContiGroup is a diversified international agribusiness company headquartered in New York City. For the last six years Mr. Fribourg has served as Directeur Général of Finagrain Compagnie Commerciale Agricole et Financière S.A. a subsidiary of ContiGroup located in Geneva Switzerland.
Mr. Fribourg has held numerous positions at ContiGroup during the last 25 years including Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Latin American Division; General Manager EEC Europe; Product Manager International Meals/Derivatives Geneva; Merchandising Manager International Proteins/Derivatives; Commercial Manager/France; and Merchandising Manager. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of ContiGroup since 2001.
Mr. Fribourg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Connecticut College and a Master of International Management degree from the American Graduate School of International Management. He has been an OSG Board member since 2000 and is Chairman of the Compensation Committee. |
