A fifth generation descendant of one of LNC's founding partners, Chalan Colby began serving as LNC's Family President in 2005. She is a member of the Board of Directors, chairman of the Family Council Committee, and serves ex officio on several other committees. Chalan is responsible for overseeing the annual Family Retreat and facilitating communication with over 380 Laird Norton family members. She is also focused on developing family programs with an emphasis on education and responsible company stewardship. Chalan graduated from Scripps College with a BA in Child Psychology, and Santa Clara University with a master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling. |
