Cem Kumral is president of the Nigeria Business Unit. He joins us from one of our key bottling partners Coca-Cola Sabco (CCS) where he served as chief operating officer East & North Africa and South East & South West Asia.
Mr. Kumral joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1991. During his early career with the Company he held various general management positions including roles in our CBO in Turkey and region marketing manager. Between 1998-2000 he headed the Russia business (CCBE).
Mr. Kumral joined CCS at the end of 2001 where he was appointed division general manager for the East Africa Division (Uganda Tanzania Kenya and Ethiopia). During the early part of 2004 he became chief operating officer for the East Africa Division including Mozambique. In January 2006 the six Asian countries of CCS were added to Cem's responsibility and he was appointed COO East & North Africa and South East & South West Asia.
Before joining The Coca-Cola Company Mr. Kumral worked for the Southland Corporation (7-Eleven) and Procter & Gamble both in the U.K. and Turkey.
Cem is a citizen of Turkey. He has a bachelor's degree in marketing from the Bosphorus University (Robert College) Istanbul.
