Since our inception in 2000, founder/CEO Celeste Gudas has distinguished 24 Seven as an industry leader by innovating current industry processes and establishing new standards of practice for freelance and fulltime staffing.
Prior to founding 24 Seven, Gudas, a graduate of Smith College, held several senior level merchandising and product development positions within the industry. Recognizing an opportunity to use that insider industry knowledge to inform hiring decisions, Celeste spent 10 years in recruiting and marketing for the apparel staffing industry before establishing 24 Seven, Inc. in March 2000. Utilizing the breadth of those professional experiences, she outlined an industry-specific business model and developed a team of professionals whose expertise was unparalleled in the recruitment industry. The demand for our services has increased in step with our reputation and, in response to the increasing importance of Los Angeles as an industry center, 24 Seven opened its doors in Santa Monica in 2001. West Coast expansion has continued, with a San Francisco office opening in 2003 and an Orange County satellite following 2 years later.
Celeste is an active member of the Accessories Council, American Apparel and Footwear Association, and Fashion Group International, where she served as chairperson for the Career Counseling Committee. |
