Cathy is the newest member of our product development team and she brings a wealth of experience with her. She has been developing software since 1982 and considers it her passion. She has worked with FoxPro products since 1989, including 6 months as a contractor on the Fox Team at Microsoft. She speaks at many FoxPro conferences and user groups across the U.S., writes articles for various trade magazines, and has even written a book, The Visual FoxPro Report Writer: Pushing it to the Limit and Beyond. Cathy is a five-time recipient of the prestigious Microsoft Visual FoxPro MVP award which is given by Microsoft to those who are acknowledged by their peers, demonstrate practical expertise providing the highest quality information, and are active technical community leaders who share their experience with peers. There are currently less than 40 Visual FoxPro MVPs world-wide. Cathy’s world away from MBS occurs in western Michigan where she lives with her 2 children who keep her very busy. Many of her off hours are spent on computer-related activities such as participating in her local FoxPro user group, writing articles, and preparing for conferences. What little free time she has is split between her children, landscaping, home improvement projects, and watching NASCAR or football. |
