Cathy Marsh is a partner in Global Project Finance Group and is based in the London office. She has extensive experience in project, structured and acquisition financings in various regions of the world.
Her recent representations include: advising the lenders on the $1.8 billion financing of the acquisition and subsequent expansion of the Umm Al Nar power and water project in Abu Dhabi; advising the lenders supporting a consortium's bid for the acquisition and subsequent expansion of the Taweelah B power and water project in Abu Dhabi; advising the project company on the Sohar IWPP in Oman; advising the project company on the Al Ezzel IPP in Bahrain; advising the lenders to a petrochemical plant at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia; advising the project company on all aspects of a water desalination project in Algeria; advising the consortium in the financing of their acquisition of Interpower, which holds 2,611MW of ENEL's generating assets, the final tranche of the Italian power sector privatisation; and advising the bondholders in connection with the restructuring of the Drax project in the UK.
Other recent representations include advising the commercial and ECA/multilateral lenders in connection with the Moma Titanium Mine in Mozambique, and advising the commercial lenders on the restructuring of the Uch power project in Pakistan.
