Cathy Crowley, Program Consultant Cathy Crowley joined our summer staff in 1984 as a bunk counselor while a sophomore in college. As a Head Counselor for over 12 years, she supervised both our counselor orientation and camper program. Cathy continues to return to work on-site some summers as her schedule affords. Her yearly consulting helps advance our program development greatly. Cathy is an esteemed member of our camp family. She earned her B.A./M.A. in Special Education and currently lives and works in Florida as a teacher. Since 1987, Cathy has taught severely emotionally disturbed, emotionally handicapped, mentally handicapped, physically handicapped, and learning disabled students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. She has had experience with students with Down Syndrome, Angelman's Syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Tourrette's Syndrome, William's Syndrome, Praeder-Willi Syndrome and Asperger's Syndrome. |
