Ms. Altman is a litigation partner at Carrington Coleman. Her practice focuses on areas of construction litigation, real estate litigation, business torts, unfair competition, and insurance coverage disputes. Ms. Altman also has substantial experience in arbitration and in litigation regarding the enforceability of arbitration agreements under the Federal Arbitration Act, the Texas Arbitration Act, and the Convention on the Enforcement and Recognition of Foreign Arbitral Awards. Ms. Altman also assists clients with various business immigration law matters. In 2005, 2006 and 2007, Ms. Altman was named by Texas Monthly magazine as a "Rising Star" in Texas law. Ms. Altman was admitted to practice in Texas in 1995. Cathy resides in Midlothian, Texas, where she serves on the board of the Corporation for the Economic Development of Midlothian. Cathy is also a member of the Executive Board of the North Texas Clean Air Coalition. |
