Description of Practice:
Cathy is an associate in our San Francisco office, where she provides critical associate-level support to the Litigation and Land Use, Environmental, and Natural Resources teams in a variety of matters.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Cathy was an associate at Cooley Godward Kronish, LLP specializing in commercial litigation.
In 2006 and 2007, she was honored as a recipient of both the Outstanding Service Award from the Legal Aid Society of San Diego and the Wiley W. Manual Award from the California State Bar for her significant contributions in the pro bono arena.
Cathy is admitted to the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Nevada, and is a member of American Bar Association.
Educational History:
Cathy received her B.A. in History from the University of California, San Diego in 1999. She graduated magna cum laude and with honors with highest distinction from the History Department. In 2004, she received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis, where she graduated Order of the Coif, earning Witkin Awards in Environmental Enforcement, Water Law, and Torts. Cathy was a member of the Moot Court Board and a participant on the State Moot Court Team. Prior to graduation, Cathy was selected as a member of the Order of the Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy and brief writing. |
