Catherine (Cathy) is the Director of Human Resources at Brown Smith Wallace, where she is responsible for the overall human resources strategy and direction within the firm. Above all else, Cathy ensures that the firm is successful in its management of human capital, which is the lifeline of the firm. With more than 17 years of experience in corporate human resources and development, Cathy has gained valuable insight into the overall direction and tone at the top required for a successful human resources function. Her experience includes:Human resources planning and strategy Change implementation Recruiting and staffing Benefits Communications Organizational development Talent/succession planning Performance management Employee relations Leadership development Cathy’s background includes experience across several industries including not for profit, professional services, and manufacturing. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa and her MBA at The University of Iowa. Further, she is currently enrolled in the Executive Development Seminar Series through the Olin School of Business at Washington University. |
