Catherine Dulac, Ph.D., Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Howard Hughes Investigator at Harvard University. Dr. Dulac developed new ways of cloning genes from single neurons. She has identified novel multigene families encoding candidate pheromone receptors and other essential signaling components of the mammalian vomeronasal organ. Using molecular and genetic tools, she has analyzed the coding of pheromone signals in the mammalian brain and the specificity of the pheromone response leading to gender discrimination and aggression.
Dr. Dulac joined the Senomyx Scientific Advisory Board in August 1999. |
