Cathy Clarkin is a partner in the Corporate and Financial Group of the Firm's General Practice Group and specializes in capital market transactions. She has extensive experience in equity and debt financings by U.S. and non-U.S. issuers, and regularly advises a variety of corporate clients on non-transactional matters such as corporate governance and disclosure matters. She has advised on numerous initial public offerings, including her recent representation of MF Global Ltd, IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. and Archipelago Holdings, Inc. as well as the underwriters in the IPO of J. Crew Group, Inc. and the secondary offering by NYSE Group, Inc. Cathy also regularly represents large financial institutions in the development and structuring of hybrid securities and equity, currency and commodity-linked securities. Ms. Clarkin practiced in each of the Firm's Washington, D.C., London and New York offices and became a partner of the Firm in 2005. |
