Catherine L. Hughes joined Acxiom in 1988 as general counsel and secretary and currently serves as Acxiom’s corporate governance officer and secretary. She is responsible for the Company’s compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s and Nasdaq’s rules and regulations, and for the operations of the Company’s board of directors.
Prior to joining Acxiom, Catherine was employed from 1983-1988 as a corporate securities attorney with the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she represented a number of public companies, including Acxiom. Prior to joining the Rose Law Firm, Catherine served as the senior law clerk to Federal District Court Judge Elsijane Roy, Eastern District of Arkansas, and as an assistant attorney general for the State of Arkansas.
Catherine holds a degree in political science and philosophy from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a juris doctorate degree from the UALR School of Law. |
