Cathy Unger has worked as a Public Affairs Consultant in the political, corporate and non-profit arena for over 30 years. She has been a partner in UT Strategies, Inc. where she represented municipal and corporate entities and Unger/Thomas where she represented State Governors, U.S. Senators and local elected officials. A native of Los Angeles, she received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1969. She is the former President of the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges and former Co-Chair of the Los Angeles Women’s Political Committee. She currently serves as Chair of the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project, Board member of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, and Board Member of the National Planned Parenthood Action Fund. She is a Trustee of the UC Berkeley Foundation and Vice-President to the American Jewish Committee in Los Angeles. She is married to Leonard Unger and they have two grown children and four grandchildren. |
