Ms. Matthes joined Kereos as CFO in October 2003 and brings more than 15 years of financial management experience with her. Before joining Kereos, Ms. Matthes managed her own financial services company in which she acted as temporary CFO for various start-up biotechnology companies in the St. Louis area, including Kereos. Prior to this, she was Chief Financial Officer for Megan Health, a vaccine development company, until its sale to Avant Immunotherapeutics. Previously, Ms. Matthes served as Controller and Manager, Financial Planning for Bock Pharmacal. In her role as CFO she brings experience in private equity for start-up companies, business valuation, forecasting, and strategic planning. Ms. Matthes holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and earned her CPA license while at Coopers and Lybrand. |
