Catherine McEnroe’s practice includes a focus on complex securities and insurance class action litigation. Catherine has defended officers and directors of Ceridian, Summit Medical Corporation and Photran Corporation in complex securities class action litigation, including SEC investigations and disciplinary proceedings. She successfully defeated class certification after a trial in Texas state district court on behalf of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America in the matter of Vasquez, et al. v. Allianz Life, et al. Catherine was also part of a team of lawyers who defended Piper Jaffray, Inc. in numerous national class actions, regulatory investigations, and NASD arbitrations, arising from the collapse of the derivatives securities market in 1994.
Catherine has also participated as an instructor in numerous CLE programs, including the 2000 National Business Institute CLE, Litigating the Class Action Lawsuit in Minnesota.
Catherine is an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, teaching Closely Held Businesses.
Prior to joining the firm in 1993, Catherine was the judicial clerk to the Honorable James M. Rosenbaum, U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Minnesota.
