Catherine Jackson practices in the area of commercial and civil litigation, with experience in complex unfair business practices issues, commercial and contract disputes, business torts, state and federal regulatory and constitutional issues, healthcare litigation, and energy litigation and regulatory issues.
Ms. Jackson graduated cum laude from UCLA in 1993 with a B.A. in Political Science. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1997, where she was Notes Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. Before joining Stein & Lubin in November 2006, Ms. Jackson was a Deputy Attorney General in the California Attorney General's Energy Task Force, where she investigated and litigated matters arising from the restructuring of California's energy markets and the 2000-2001 energy crisis. Prior to joining the Attorney General's Office in 2003, Ms. Jackson was a commercial litigation associate at Brobeck, Phleger, & Harrison LLP, where she represented public and private entities in the healthcare, financial services, technology, software, and insurance industries. |
