Cassandra T. Speier has served as Senior Vice President of Operations since November of 2007. She has senior clinical responsibility for NovaMed's surgery center operations and manages NovaMed's multi-specialty surgery centers.
Prior to joining NovaMed Ms Speier was a Vice President for Symbion Healthcare a surgery center company from 2001 until she joined NovaMed. She managed a significant portion of Symbion's multi-specialty surgery centers handled development of selected surgery centers and hospital joint ventures. From 1994 to 2001 she was Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Vision America. She also served in senior management positions for Medcath Medivision and Medical International.
Ms. Speier is a registered nurse who trained at San Bernardino School of Nursing and attended the University of Colorado.
