Cary J. Reich joined ForSight Labs as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in 2006. Dr. Reich brings with him a wealth of ophthalmic knowledge and over 25 years of experience in the development and commercialization of medical devices and pharmaceuticals, including expertise in compound development, materials, regulatory strategy and technology collaborations. He has held senior management positions at Inamed Corporation (through its acquisition by Allergan), Calhoun Vision, Baxter Healthcare, Fusion Medical and Chiron Vision. Dr. Reich earned his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College, and his Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from Stanford. Cary is an inventor on over 25 US patents in ocular devices, biomaterials, surface coatings and surgical sealants. |
