Cary V. Sorensen 58 years old. He is a 1976 graduate of the University of Texas, School of Law, and has undergraduate degrees from North Texas State University and Catholic University in Washington D.C. Prior to joining the Company in July, 1999, he has been continuously engaged in the practice of law in Houston, Texas, relating to the energy industry since 1977, both in private law firms and as a corporate law department of Enron Corp. before entering private practice in June, 1996. He has presented virtually all of the major oil companies headquarter in Houston and all of the operating subsidiaries of Enron Corp., as well as local distribution companies and electric utilities in a variety of litigated and administrative cases before state and federal courts and agencies in 5 states. These matters involved gas contracts, gas marketing, exploration and production disputes involving royalties or operating interests , land titles, oil pipelines and gas pipelines, tariff matters at the state and federal levels, and general operation and regulation of interstate gas pipelines. |
