Experience
Carter Andersen has extensive experience handling complex civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts and in alternative dispute resolution settings, including arbitration and mediation. Mr. Andersen handles construction and real estate disputes, professional malpractice matters, trade secret disputes, commercial contract disputes and other general commercial litigation matters. Before joining Bush Ross, Mr. Andersen practiced general commercial litigation with Jones, Day in Washington, D.C. Mr. Andersen also has extensive experience in complex public financings within Florida.

Recognitions, Associations and Professional Activities
Mr. Andersen is an active member of The Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. Mr. Andersen is a Barrister in the Tampa Bay Inn Chapter of the American Inns of Court and is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. He is a graduate of the Leadership Tampa Class of 2006, and has also been active in a variety of community and civic activities including being a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, serving on the All Children’s Hospital Development Council, serving as a volunteer tutor at Academy Prep Center of Tampa, and serving on the Board for Tampa Bay Little League. Mr. Andersen has been recognized as a 2007 Outstanding Young Alumnus by the University of Florida, Levin College of Law and was elected to be Secretary of the college's Alumni Council. Mr. Andersen has received recognition as a member of Florida's "Up & Coming Legal Elite" by Florida Trend Magazine and has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
