Carson is a versatile designer skilled in the arts of illustration, animation, sound design and editing. His recent work includes dynamic animation for a business training video that energized 10,000 Deloitte consultants and a webcast introducing new software created by HP and Red Hat. In all of his multimedia projects, Carson’s gift for powerful storytelling inspires and motivates. For example, his work on the ad campaign for TRU, North Carolina’s youth tobacco prevention initiative, is reaching thousands of young people with a hard-hitting tobacco-free message. He started his career as a multimedia specialist with Raleigh-based Murphy & Associates. He also served a stint in New York as a motion graphics artist. Carson’s work has earned a string of media awards: a regional Emmy Award from the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, nine national Telly Awards, two national Aurora Awards and a Silver Reel of Merit from the Triangle chapter of the Media Communications Association-International. A graduate of North Carolina State University, Carson earned dual degrees in art and design and in mass communication. |
