Carolyn Bartholomew is the current chairman of the United States-China Economic and Security Review Commission established by Congress in 2000 to monitor, investigate, and report on the national security implications of the bilateral trade and economic relationship between the United States and the People’s Republic of China. She is also the executive director of the Basic Education Coalition, a non-profit organization that works to raise public and private support for basic education for children worldwide. Ms. Bartholomew graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology from the University of Minnesota. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in anthropology from Duke University and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University. |
