Ms. Jackson provides consulting services and subject matter expertise in Medicare and Medicaid compliance, advising on federal enforcement initiatives, investigative techniques, and specific issues involving health care fraud and abuse. Prior to joining Strategic Management, she served as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Office of Investigations (OI), Philadelphia Regional Office (PRO). In this capacity, Ms. Jackson managed staff in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh, PA, managing criminal and civil investigations of national/local concern, including record-breaking cases with pharmaceutical companies and others. In addition to health care fraud, she managed investigations concerning the Centers for Disease Control, Head Start, and the enforcement of the Child Support Recovery Act. Ms. Jackson has received numerous awards of recognition for her accomplishments throughout her career, including the Secretary's Award for Distinguished Service, the highest level of recognition in the Department, as a member of the Labscam Inspection Team; and the Inspector General's Bronze Medal for Outstanding Employee of the Year. She has studied at St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA, and received her basic law enforcement training at the Department of the Treasury Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA, of which she was President of her class. Ms. Jackson retired in December 2005 from the Federal Government after 35 years of service, 20 of those years in law enforcement. |
