Carolyn Oakley Lowe serves as Executive Vice President in the firm's Philadelphia office. Additionally she is a member of DHR's Executive Committee and Head of the Diversity Practice Group. Ms. Lowe has recruited senior executives for positions in private-sector corporations for the past six years. As an industry generalist focused on building the management and business operating team for clients, she executes searches in a wide variety of the firm’s practice areas. Ms. Lowe has conducted searches for the Divisional Merchandise Managers and Buyers for The May Company; Vice President of Customer Service, and Manager, E-Commerce for Britannica.com; Chief Operating Officer, Lakeshore Development Company; Senior Vice President for Communications, Ryder System, Inc; Assistant Treasurer-International for Warner-Lambert Corporation; Customer Service Manager, Omni-Circuits, Inc., the Director of Emerging Markets and the Diverse Markets Manager for American Express Financial Advisors; Regional Managing Director, and Account Managers, for American Express Tax and Business Services; Team Leader, Relationship Manager, and Project Managers for The John Ryan Company; and Chief Technology Officer and Controller for the American Bar Association, among others. Ms. Lowe has a broad background in business, law, finance, and public policy development. Before joining DHR International, she was an associate with another executive search firm and a principal with a pension fund investment advisory firm. Earlier in her career, Ms. Lowe served as Executive Director and Associate General Counsel of a state tax-exempt finance agency. Ms. Lowe received her JD at New York University and BA at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. She is also a member of Lambda Alpha International, an honorary land economics society and serves on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Housing Development Corporation.
