Carolyn B. King is a paralegal in the firm’s intellectual property practice group. She joined the firm in 2006 and is resident in the Minneapolis office. Carolyn has assisted attorneys in the areas of trademark, patent and copyright for over 18 years. She specializes in trademark matters including worldwide trademark clearance, prosecution and maintenance. Carolyn’s responsibilities include maintaining national and international trademark portfolios, including filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and communications with foreign counsel; corresponding with clients regarding general trademark inquiries and deadlines; and conducting trademark clearance search at attorney request. She also has experience with copyright and patent filings and enforcement matters. Prior to joining Faegre & Benson, Carolyn worked as a legal specialist for an intellectual property boutique law firm in the areas of trademark prosecution and maintenance, overseeing trademark portfolios for both domestic and foreign clients. Prior to that, she worked in an intellectual property firm in Washington, D.C., in the area of patent prosecution. |
