CAROLINE DORSA has been a director since February 2003. Age 48. She is a member of the Audit Committee, the Corporate Governance Committee and the Finance Committee. She is also a director of PSE&G. She has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gilead Sciences, Inc., a research-based biopharmaceutical company since November 2007. She was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Avaya, Inc., a global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, from February 2007 to November 2007. Prior to that, she served at Merck & Co., Inc. as Vice President and Treasurer from December 1996 to January 2007, and as Treasurer from January 1994 to November 1996. She was also Executive Director of the U.S. Human Health Marketing subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc. from June 1992 to January 1994.
