I'm thrilled to be bringing my 17 years of experience developing mobile data networking and wireless telecommunications systems to a company that's all about delivering fun and responsible cutting-edge mobile services to kids and their families.
I started at kajeet as our VP of product management and had the unique opportunity to build our services for parents and kids (and our rate plan) from scratch. As the lead for corporate and business development, I now have the opportunity to take advantage of the great product and distribution we've built as I establish strategic partnerships for kajeet.
Prior to kajeet, I was one of the co-founders of Megisto Systems, a company that developed prepaid software infrastructure for operators in Asia and Europe to help them deliver innovative mobile data and content services. As Megisto's VP of marketing and product management, I was the primary company spokesperson and managed all aspects of product development priorities and the product's evolution.
Before Megisto, I served as VP of product management at Ericsson, managing internal product development as well as third-party vendor relationships for the company's data portfolio. I also served as assistant vice president of marketing and business development for Torrent Networking Technologies, where I oversaw Torrent's business development activities, including the relationship with Ericsson that led to their acquisition of Torrent.
I hold an M.S.E.E. from Johns Hopkins University, a B.S.E.E. from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Maryland. I like to run, bike and ski, and am now enjoying teaching my kids how to bike and ski, too.
As both a mother and a professional, I understand the challenges that changing technologies represent for today's families. Being part of a company that simplifies these challenges and gives kids access to fun and safe services is incredibly rewarding. |
