As Vice President of Recruiting, Carol McNamara joined On Assignment in May 2001 with 15 years of recruiting and staffing experience. Ms. McNamara is responsible for the recruitment of account executives and recruiters for all divisions as well as recruiting for all corporate positions. During her tenure with On Assignment, Ms. McNamara successfully implemented cost reducing recruiting strategies as well as to reduce costs and the number of days to fill open positions.
Prior to joining On Assignment, Ms. McNamara worked at Ross Stores, Inc. as the Corporate Staffing Manager where she was responsible for management placements for the East and West Coast Distribution Centers, the Transportation Department, Human Resources, Real Estate, Finance and Payroll Departments. Ms. McNamara joined Ross Stores in 1996 as their West Coast Regional Recruiter and was responsible for the management staffing of 230 off-price retail stores in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Washington State and Oregon.
Ms. McNamara began her career as an executive recruiter with Douglas Associates in 1992 and specialized in permanent placements of retail executives through out the United States.
