Carol Green is a Tax Manager with Joseph Decosimo & Company. Her principal areas of tax practice include individuals, investment partnerships, physicians, farms and ministers.
In 1972, Ms. Green joined the Decosimo staff as the first female accountant with the firm. She left Decosimo and practiced for five years with a local firm in New Jersey focusing on individual, municipal, school and utility company audits. Ms. Green then served for six years as corporate accounting officer for a multi-billion dollar, publicly-traded regional bank in Rochester, New York. There she managed the bank’s accounting operations and participated as a member of the Work Environment and Diversity Committee. In 1998, Ms. Green returned to Decosimo.
Ms. Green is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners. She is also a past board member with the Scenic Chattanooga Optimist Club.
Ms. Green received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she graduated Cum Laude. She was also elected as a member of the Mortar Board Honorary Society for Women. |
