Vice President Carol Dillin leads PGE's Public Policy, overseeing the company's Government Affairs, Corporate Communications, Community Affairs and Environmental Policy & Special Attention Customers departments. She also addresses energy policy issues on behalf of PGE customers, and actively engages city, state and federal leaders on important public policy issues.
During her 20 years at PGE she has served in a variety of capacities in Corporate Communications and Community Affairs. This includes two years as president of the PGE Foundation, the corporate foundation for Portland General Electric. Dillin joined PGE in 1987 as a public information specialist.
Dillin is actively engaged in the community. She serves on the boards of the Portland Business Alliance, Oregon Business Association, the American Heart Association and Oregon Mentors and previously served as president of the SOLV board of directors in 2004. She also is a Leadership Council member of the Northwest Business for Culture & the Arts and serves on the board for Portland Center Stage. In 2002, she was awarded the William Marsh Lifetime Achievement Award for public relations by the Public Relations Society of America Columbia-Willamette Chapter.
A graduate of the University of Oregon with bachelor's degrees in journalism and Spanish, Dillin is working on an MBA through Marylhurst University.
She resides in northwest Portland with her son, Jack, who is a sophomore at Jesuit High School, and her pug dog, Bella.
