Ms. Amelio joined NUCRYST in February 2006 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She is responsible for all of NUCRYST's legal requirements such as securities compliance and business agreement preparation and negotiation.
Prior to joining NUCRYST, Ms. Amelio served as legal counsel for The Westaim Corporation and worked extensively with NUCRYST. She supported NUCRYST's legal needs associated with meeting its corporate objectives including the preparation and negotiation of joint development, licensing, research and development, and clinical study agreements. Prior to Westaim, she held senior legal and management positions with TELUS Communications.
Ms. Amelio earned a Bachelor of Commerce with distinction and a law degree from the University of Alberta. |
