Carmen joined The Brenner Group in 2006 with over sixteen years of experience in finance, accounting and administration, and an in-depth understanding of the fundamental controls and processes needed to support and grow dynamic organizations. Before joining The Brenner Group, Carmen served as financial consultant to several venture-backed start-ups in the technology industry. Prior to that, Carmen was the senior financial officer at Attensity Corporation where she oversaw the finance, accounting, and human resources departments. In addition, she was Vice President of Finance and Administration for KnowNow, Inc., a privately-held provider of web infrastructure software, as well as Director of Finance for Corsair Communications, a publicly-traded provider of software and systems solutions to the wireless industry. Carmen received extensive technology experience as a senior manager with KPMG Peat Marwick LLP where she successfully managed several initial public offerings and corporate acquisitions. Carmen holds a B.S. degree in Accounting/Marketing/Finance from the Walter A. Haas School of Business Administration, University of California, Berkeley. |
