Carlos Williams is a Senior Vice President overseeing all of the Company's auto appraisal services and Subrogation/Salvage programs. He is responsible for the appraisal and subrogation/salvage budget, management reports, ensuring the staff continually receives training and development, establishing benchmarks and performance goals, quality control, and compliance with state regulations.
Carlos graduated from Pace University in 1989 with a Bachelors degree in General Business. In 2002, he obtained a Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) from Kaplan College. Carlos joined the Robert Plan in 1996 as a Property Damage Examiner. He previously worked for Green Bus Lines as an Examiner responsible for investigating and negotiating first and third party property claims.
The American Loss Control (ALC) division includes the subrogation, salvage and appraisal units. ALC provides auto appraisal services, appraising damage for all types of vehicles, including heavy trucks, recreational vehicles and property losses. Subrogation and salvage provide recovery services to recover indemnity dollars paid out.
Carlos has set forth four goals for the ALC group: 1) provide quality appraisal services with cost savings and effective recovery services; 2) establish, implement, monitor corrective action plans when deficiencies are identified; 3) outperform the industry benchmark recovery and appraisal statistics yearly; and 4) monitor monthly expenses against overall budget (100% customer satisfaction). Through Carlos' leadership and teamwork the recovery unit consistently outperforms industry benchmark statistics with an average rate of 30.50%, which is more than double the industry standard of 13.5%. |
