Carlos González Peña received a Bachelor of Science from Monterrey Tech, in México, and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs. Following graduate school he was invited to join the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission as a Program Analyst, after which he moved to Dallas to join The Meadows Foundation as a Program Officer in grants administration.
Prior to joining Brigham Hill Consultancy, Mr. González Peña was the Vice President for University Advancement and Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Dallas. Over his eleven years there, he was responsible for development, government and community relations. Additional experience in the private sector includes serving as the Vice President for Customer Service for Industrias del Agua in México City.
Active in the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, and the Dallas Assembly, Mr. González Peña’s current and former community involvement also includes serving on the boards of The Hockaday School, St. Michael’s & All Angels Episcopal Church Foundation, Educational Opportunities, and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas among others. |
